By 2050, achieving net-zero emissions has become a global and cross-disciplinary goal, with energy usage being a primary source of greenhouse gas emissions at national and city levels. Therefore, energy transition is the foremost task in achieving net-zero emissions. The Energy Transition Sub-forum will focus on initiatives such as promoting zero-carbon energy systems and enhancing energy system resilience. It aims to provide a platform for city representatives to exchange views and discuss solutions to the challenges and obstacles encountered in promoting energy transition, thus accelerating the implementation of transition strategies.
